I made these fabric flower collages what seems like eons ago and realized I never posted them here to share how they turned out!

They were so fun to make and I sewed them all by hand – I love slow stitching!

This is a bright + funky one, using mostly upcycled fabrics + just some embroidery. The petals of the flowers were cut out from some crazy surf board fabric.

The second one I made is a little less crazy but still all so lovely.

This one was made mostly with a beautiful kit Sandra from Fado Reclaimed sent me – oh my I loved the fabrics she sent in the slow stitch kits she is selling! Check out her shop here.

Sandra sent me the loveliest box of goodies – oh my goodness so pretty + a fabric/textural heaven! You can see some more stuff I made with her box of goodies in the slow stitch kit she sent in my Breakfast at Tiffany’s Textile Collage.

These flower collages are relatively simple to make and I will hopefully get some tutorials on more slow stitching projects soon – sometimes I get so busy in creating that I forget to actually, y’know – pay attention to how I make these things!

Anyways, if you love slow stitching or just using fabric in your mixed media projects, I’d love to see what you’ve been creating and working on – join our Facebook group so I can ooh and ahhh. 🙂
